Philadelphia, PA – May 4, 2015 – IntegriChain, a rapidly growing cloud company focused on channel management for healthcare suppliers, today announced that Lora Cecere, founder of the research firm Supply Chain Insights and author of Supply Chain Metrics that Matter, will keynote the IntegriChain User Conference to be held October 19-21 in Baltimore. This year’s conference centers on proactively improving the efficiency of how products reach customers and how to build a collaborative, data-driven healthcare channel.
“Lora Cecere is arguably the foremost thought leader in supply chain management across multiple industries,” said Joshua Halpern, co-founder and Executive Vice President of IntegriChain. “The IntegriChain User Conference is a unique opportunity for healthcare manufacturers to gain from her insights and experience and learn more about how they can improve profitability and unlock shareholder value by implementing best practices recently adopted in other industry verticals.”
With more than 30 years of diverse supply chain experience, Cecere spent nine years as an industry analyst with Gartner Group, AMR Research, and Altimeter Group. Prior to becoming a supply chain analyst, she spent 15 years as a leader in the building of supply chain software at Manugistics and Descartes Systems Group and several years as a supply chain practitioner at Procter & Gamble, Kraft/General Foods, Clorox, and Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream (now a division of Nestlé). As an enterprise strategist, Cecere focuses on the changing face of enterprise technologies. Her research is designed for the early adopter seeking first mover advantage. Current research topics include the digital consumer, supply chain sensing, demand shaping and revenue management, market-driven value networks, accelerating innovation through open design networks, the evolution of predictive analytics, emerging business intelligence solutions, and technologies to improve safe and secure product delivery. Cecere is the author of the enterprise software blog Supply Chain Shaman and a blog for Forbes, has co-authored the book Bricks Matter (2012), and recently published her latest book, Supply Chain Metrics that Matter (2014).
“I look forward to speaking at the IntegriChain User Conference on Supply chain metrics that matter,” said Cecere. “With the rise of the global multi-national, increased local regulation, and shifts in special-handling requirements of pharmaceuticals, supply chain matters more than ever. In this session, I will share the current state of the pharmaceutical and life sciences companies in driving the supply chain metrics that matter and what we can learn from other supply chain leaders.”
